Jane Thompson - Essie Davis

Jane (37) is unhappily married to Colin (Geoff Paine). She exudes an immaculate image of order and composure but underneath is deeply frustrated, insecure and thinks her husband is having an affair. She is devoted to her daughter Eve.

Essie Davis graduated from NIDA in 1992 and has gone on to appear in many Hollywood movies. Her career started after she appeared in the all Australian movie DAD AND DAVE: ON OUR SELECTION. She is now most well known for her roles in THE MATRIX RELOADED and THE MATRIX REVOLUTIONS, THE SOUND OF ONE HAND CLAPPING, GIRL WITH A PEARL EARRING and AUSTRALIA with Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman.
